An exceptional and rare 18th century English tinder box corkscrew
A very rare and early English steel pocket tinderbox corkscrew.
Dating to the mid 18th century.
Finely worked to with the attendants of the British royal coat of arms, a unicorn to one side and a lion to the other, futher chased with scrolling tendrils to the body.
Opening to reveal a tinder box and a striking flint.
Complete with the original cover to protect the complete worm.
An incredibly rare piece in fine condition.
